Editing: Behind the scenes

Here are pictures of two of our group members editing the video. As a group we took it in turns to edit the video, as each of us brought different inputs/ideas to the music video.

Here is a screen recording example of what we have done to edit the beginning of our music video, from the video we have repeatedly used the blade tool in order to get the precise shot we wanted from that part of the video. Taking aboard the idea of the time-lapse, we speed up the video by 2x, in order for the clip to be faster than its usual speed to have a time-lapse effect. Throughout the video, we have used the blade tool, as well as the mark tool, where it would mark the precise spot where we wanted it to cut. It was crucial for us to get the cut on point, as it had to cut precisely on the beat, in order for a better impact.
